WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?

More than relaxation — it is targeted soft-tissue care.

Massage therapy involves hands-on manipulation of muscles and connective tissues to reduce tension, improve comfort, and support overall well-being.

During treatment, the therapist may use the hands, fingers, forearms, or elbows to apply pressure, knead, and work through soft tissue. Pressure and technique are adjusted around your condition, preferences, and tolerance.

YOUR SESSION

Built around what your body needs that day.

The goal is not to force every patient into the same style of massage. Your therapist can vary pressure, technique, and areas of focus based on what you are trying to address.

TECHNIQUES WE USE

Different techniques for different goals.

There is no single “best” massage style. The technique is selected and adjusted to match the purpose of the session.

01

Swedish Massage

A smoother, relaxation-focused approach used to reduce general muscular tension and promote a sense of calm.

02

Deep Tissue Massage

More focused pressure used to work into deeper muscular layers and stubborn areas of tightness or soreness.

03

Sports Massage

Soft-tissue work geared toward athletes and active patients managing training load, soreness, mobility, and recovery.

04

Table Thai Massage

Thai-inspired assisted stretching and rhythmic compression, adapted to the massage table to improve mobility and ease muscle tension.

Techniques can be used individually or combined within a session based on your needs.

BENEFITS OF MASSAGE THERAPY

Support for the soft tissues that influence how you move and feel.

01

Relaxation

Helps reduce stress and promotes a calmer, more relaxed state.

02

Pain Relief

Can help reduce muscle soreness, tightness, and tension-related discomfort.

03

Improved Circulation

Hands-on soft-tissue work can support local blood and lymphatic flow.

04

Flexibility & Mobility

Reducing muscular restriction can support easier movement and range of motion.

05

Improved Sleep

Many patients find that the relaxation response after massage supports better sleep quality.

06

Injury Rehabilitation

Massage can support recovery when it is integrated into a broader chiropractic or rehabilitation plan.

WHY PAIR MASSAGE WITH CHIROPRACTIC CARE?

Joint mechanics and soft tissue influence each other.

Massage therapy can help address muscular tension and soft-tissue restriction while chiropractic care focuses on joint motion, spinal mechanics, and function.

Used together, they can form a more complete plan for patients dealing with pain, stiffness, injury, or recovery from activity.

How long is a massage session?

Sessions typically range from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the technique used and what you are trying to address.
