WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC CARE?
Every visit starts with a real conversation, a thorough exam, and a review of your history before hands-on care begins. From there, treatment may combine spinal or joint manipulation, decompression, corrective exercise, postural screening, and practical movement guidance.
The goal is to match care to what is actually happening in your body rather than force everyone into the same protocol.
When appropriate, chiropractic care can also be supported by other Advanced Spine services: Auto-Accident Injury Care for focused evaluation and coordinated recovery after a collision; Sports & Athletic Optimization for movement, return-to-training and performance goals; and Laser & Shockwave Therapy for stubborn soft-tissue and tendon problems that may be limiting function. These services are used selectively when they fit the examination findings and treatment plan.
Identify joint dysfunction, movement limitations, and contributing factors.
Use precise hands-on care to improve motion and reduce mechanical stress.
Reinforce better movement with corrective exercise and practical coaching.
SUPPORTIVE THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES
Chiropractic care remains the foundation of the treatment plan. When appropriate, these therapies can be added to address soft tissue, disc-related stress, muscle tension, recovery, and movement limitations so the overall plan is more complete.
Laser therapy uses focused light energy and shockwave uses acoustic energy to target painful or stubborn soft-tissue areas. They can complement chiropractic care by helping reduce local irritation, improve tissue recovery, and make movement or rehabilitation more tolerable.
Explore Laser & Shockwave → 02Controlled traction gently unloads the spine and can reduce mechanical pressure on discs, joints, and irritated nerve structures. It may be paired with chiropractic care when disc-related pain, stiffness, or nerve symptoms limit comfortable movement.
Explore Decompression & Traction → 03Targeted soft-tissue work helps reduce muscle tension, improve tissue mobility, and address guarding around painful or restricted areas. This can make adjustments, corrective exercise, and normal movement easier to perform.
Explore Massage Therapy → 04Acupuncture provides a different sensory and neuromuscular input that may help calm pain, reduce muscle tension, and support recovery. It can be integrated with chiropractic care when pain sensitivity or persistent soft-tissue tension is slowing progress.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are the most common ones from the original chiropractic page.
Chiropractic manipulative therapy, often called CMT or a chiropractic adjustment, is a hands-on technique in which the chiropractor applies a controlled, specific force to a joint to restore motion and reduce mechanical irritation. At Advanced Spine & Injury Center it ranges from a traditional manual adjustment to gentler mobilization or instrument-assisted techniques, chosen after your examination.
It depends on what is going on. Some patients improve quickly, while more involved disc, chronic pain, or post-accident cases may require a defined series of visits with frequency adjusted as progress is made.
Chiropractic care is not the right fit for every condition or every person. That is why care starts with a full history and examination, with referral when a presentation falls outside the clinic's scope.
Many plans include chiropractic benefits, including PIP coverage after an auto accident. The office can help you understand your specific benefits before starting care.
Common presentations include back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, auto-accident injuries, herniated or bulging discs, and sciatica.
